Havashini Pillay
Originally from Durban, Havashini began her LLB studies at UKZN, Howard College and completed her degree through UNISA in 2018 while working and gaining valuable experience in the legal field.
She commenced her articles in Durban before relocating to Cape Town in 2019, where she completed her articles with Henry Shields Attorneys in 2020. In 2021, she was admitted as an attorney and invited to practice as an associate at the firm.
Havashini has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, personal injury law, debt review, and family law. At Henry Shields Attorneys, she specialized in RAF claims, medical negligence matters, cost recovery, and various aspects of personal injury litigation. Her passion for this field is driven by a commitment to securing fair compensation for individuals who have suffered severe injuries due to accidents or negligence.
Outside of her legal career, Havashini enjoys expressing her creativity through art, with a particular passion for watercolor painting. She is an avid reader, loves visiting animal sanctuaries, and is a devoted rabbit and dog lover.
