Havashini Pillay

Originally from Durban, Havashini began her LLB studies at UKZN, Howard College and completed her degree through UNISA in 2018 while working and gaining valuable experience in the legal field. 

 

She commenced her articles in Durban before relocating to Cape Town in 2019, where she completed her articles with Henry Shields Attorneys in 2020. In 2021, she was admitted as an attorney and invited to practice as an associate at the firm. 

 

Havashini has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, personal injury law, debt review, and family law. At Henry Shields Attorneys, she specialized in RAF claims, medical negligence matters, cost recovery, and various aspects of personal injury litigation. Her passion for this field is driven by a commitment to securing fair compensation for individuals who have suffered severe injuries due to accidents or negligence.

 

Outside of her legal career, Havashini enjoys expressing her creativity through art, with a particular passion for watercolor painting. She is an avid reader, loves visiting animal sanctuaries, and is a devoted rabbit and dog lover.

Brandon Coetzee

Brandon was born in Johannesburg and raised in Cape Town. He began his academic journey at UNISA, earning a BA in Criminology in 2016. His growing passion for the law led him to pursue an LLB, which he successfully completed in 2019.

 

In early 2020, he commenced his articles, gaining extensive hands-on experience in both general civil litigation and criminal law. Throughout this time, he worked on a diverse range of cases and found his love for court procedure and legal strategy. 

 

Brandon was admitted as an attorney in 2022 and has since practiced across multiple legal fields, including Family Law, Evictions, General Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, and Commercial Law.

 

With a client-centered approach, Brandon is committed to delivering effective legal solutions tailored to each individual's needs. He prioritizes achieving the best possible outcomes in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

 

Outside of his legal practice, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, visiting local wine farms, and indulging in his love for reading.
